Annual Branch Conference 2009  

The annual NSW/ACT Branch Conference was held 19 and 20 October 2009 at the Novotel Sydney Olympic Park. With the theme Environmental Health - Building Bridges Working together to achieve outcomes,  the conference addressed some of the changes in the legislative and professional landscape.

The one-day Evidence Gathering and Investigative Interviewing Skills Workshop was held on Wednesday 21 October at the Novotel Sydney Olympic Park.

Food Surveillance School 2009  -  1 - 3 September 2010  Holroyd Centre, Merrylands.

This year’s School is designed to provide EHOs and student/trainee EHOs with the opportunity to acquire a professional suite of food surveillance skills and knowledge that will assist them in the demanding field of food safety.  Registration available soon.  Last years program is attached for information only.

Noise Management Course - the April and May 2009 Courses at Rydges Camperdown were both fully subscribed.

We intend to offer a Course again this year,  June- July  TBA.

The course is designed specifically for professionals involved in conducting noise investigations, noise measuring, writing permit conditions, assessing development applications, assessing noise reports and strategic planning.  Ideal for EHOs, Planners, Builing Surveyors and Compliance Officers.
